This was probably the best Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. It was super clean. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions that I had. This place was like walking into a 1960's/1970's art museum. The outside patio was also wonderful. The hosts even put a brand new half gallon of ice cream in the freezer for us and left a bottle of wine in the fridge. Highly recommend this place!

Nancy’s place was great and we will definitely be booking with her again! Everything was fantastic and we had a group of six and plenty of room! Very cool house…so much detail and so many additional amenities you do not always find at a rental on vacay. We have visited Hermann many times in the past and this is by far the best! Thanks again!

We had a GREAT time at this home. After a day out shopping and visiting the local wineries, it was like coming home to Grandma's house and feeling comfy and loved. So unique and fun. The firepit area was wonderful. We played records, had root beer floats, and had fun with the games. The retro kitchen appliances were awesome and to see the old dishes that everyone's Grandma brought back so many memories. We took a lot of time to just look around and we found so many things that reminded us of our childhood. Definitely a great experience!

Retrohaus was the cutest guest haus! It really is like a time capsule inside and out with those great upgrades where you want it (bathrooms, kitchen, AC). It was such a fun space and so fun to stay. The beds were all super comfy and the whole home was immaculately clean! I'd give 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

The Retrohaus is the perfect place to stay for a weekend in Hermann! The home is spacious, clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need! The retro decorations and appliances add a fun, unique vibe that you won’t forget! We loved using the outdoor space with the fire pit as well. Excellent location and the shuttle picks up and drops off right at the house!

✨Let me just start by saying the pictures that you see on Airbnb do not do this place justice (and they are great pictures). The home is so much more colorful and fun in person. We were honestly so blown away with the level of details. This home is perfectly curated and is an experience in Hermann all of it's own. I was born in 1973, so there were so many things that took me back to childhood. From the game cabinet to the kitchen table and from the lighting to the wall decor...every time I looked around, I found a new treasure. Don't think for one minute that this home doesn't have all the modern conveniences, though. Nancy and Dan have made certain that you will be more than comfortable with comfy beds and bedding and updates galore! They just did an incredible job making the updates look "retro". Additionally, they stocked this adorable house full of more amenities than you could imagine! Thank you Retrohaus, we loved every bit of you!

✨Retrohaus is flat out amazing! Walking in the front door was like stepping back in time, no detail was overlooked. The home is extremely clean and the linens smell delightful. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and the upstairs bedrooms have their own air conditioning units, comfortable beds too! The decor sparked so many memories for our little group, the living room was a wonderfully comfortable "hang out" spot. There were instructions and/or guides for everything in the home which was incredibly helpful and so appreciated (the history of the home was also fun to read). Nancy was great to communicate with and extremely quick to respond. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

✨The Retrohaus was perfect for our ladies' weekend. The comfortable king bed in the 3 bedrooms made everyone feel at ease. There were 6 of us and we never felt crowded. The cleanliness of the entire home was greatly appreciated. If you have taken the time to look at all the photos, descriptions, and amenities, you know that Nancy is incredibly detail oriented and has thought of everything! I have stayed in many rented homes and I've never had so many things included: Hand soap, dish soap, baggies of all sizes, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, trash bags, etc. There were snacks/candy/root beer float supplies/wine waiting for us at keyless check-in. The outdoor area was charming and we would have loved to use the propane fire pit but it got so cool in the evenings, we decided to stay inside and play games. The robes were appreciated for our spa evening! The house's theme was so nostalgic and tastefully done. We loved it all! Would love to stay again! Thank you, Nancy!

✨Thank you for your attention to so many lovely details in your home! Beds were SO comfy and I loved the provided robes! Such a nice added luxury! Also having root beer floats ready to make was such fun! Loved how much seating was in the living room too. 😊 Overall, such a wonderful way to relax with family. Also, GREAT location too. House is just right down street from main shopping area and trolley stops in front of house.

✨Had the best time! Wonderful home with such a unique twist to this German town. Everywhere you look you see something vintage and unique. Has everything you will need plus more. They have thought of everything and cater to their guest. We will be back!!

✨From the moment we walked in we had a comfortable, homey, nostalgic feeling. We loved everything about this home so much! Nancy and farmer Dan did an amazing job of preserving, honoring and updating their childhood home. The added touches like a bottle of local wine, nostalgic candies and all the fixins for an A&W root beer float just added to the wonderful experience. I would recommend, Debbie, at Lyft You Up transportation as your mode to get around. Make sure you schedule that ahead of time. If you get stuck (like we did) not making it to the dinner spots before the crowds there is a Casey's right down the street to get great pizza and other hot items. We sat around the gas fire pit and played Catch Phrase (found in the game cabinet). I haven't laughed that much playing a game. It was a memory to be cherished by our family.
